New Birkenstocks come with a light covering of cork sealant which prevents them from drying out. When the cork no longer looks shiny, clean and then apply a thin coat of Cork Sealer to maintain flexibility and good appearance. Seals and protects your investment. A quick application once a month (to the exposed cork only!) will prolong the life of your Birkenstock, or other cork footbed footwear.
